The term “General Contract” refers to a project delivery method which is sequenced as design, bid, build.

A project delivered under the “General Contract” delivery method has the (general) contractor join a project team once the construction documents are completed. These construction documents are procured under separate contract between the owner and architect/engineers.

Contractually, a project delivered under the “General Contract” method can be procured through a bid or negotiated basis.

During the bid or negotiation process, RONA INVEST, SPOL. S R.O. Company solicits pricing from multiple subcontractors for each trade involved in the project. Upon receipt of the subcontractors proposals, each is qualified to ascertain that a complete scope of work and an accurate cost has been provided. The qualified proposals are then compiled into a schedule of values which is presented to the owner for evaluation.
